Create a three-dimensional work of art out of shoelaces, guided by artist Veronica Olivares–Weber. Inspired by Nari Ward’s Scape, on view in Princeton Collects, this workshop invites participants to explore the expressive potential of everyday materials. Participants will build wire armatures and weave, wrap, and knot shoelaces and other materials to create fiber sculptures that convey personal and collective stories. The workshop kicks off with a gallery visit to view and discuss Ward’s work.

Open to the public (Ages 14+)
